I hate that its been so long since my last post!! Everyday I have told myself that I need to post an update and everyday we end up super busy! Chris' birthday was July 23rd which was a busy day since it was also the last day of classes/finals and we were leaving the next day for Utah. We took him to dinner at Applebee's and just spent the afternoon together. Our trip was great! We had loved seeing so many of our family members and enjoyed camping with Chris' brother and his family! Samantha had a blast playing with her cousins and getting super dirty! When we got back from our trip we were able to celebrate Chris' birthday with friends at the park. Here are some pictures of our summer adventures!

What a smile!!!

Our little Ashley has such a great smile! It lights up the whole room! I caught this one on my phone so I'm sorry its not a great one but it still shows her great smile! We love the joy she adds to our home even at the most stressful times. She loves smiling at her big sister and the reaction she gets from Samantha when she does! I LOVE being a mommy! We have the sweetest girls!

Baby Blessing and 4th of July Pictures!

We had a great 4th of July! Chris had to work at the fire dept. but we were able to spend pretty much the whole day with him at the parade and the station. Most of the guys on his shift are also married and have kids so they were all there also. They all bought their wives and kids the cutest t-shirts and onesies. We were all very exhausted by the end of the weekend but it was worth it to spend so much time together!

1 Month Old... Already?!

I can't believe it but Ashley turned 1 month old a couple days ago! Where has the time gone? I am just amazed that the time is going by so fast! It's a little sad for me, even though I love watching the girls both grow and learn new things! I love being "Mommy!" Well, I was also going to post some pictures but it won't let me right now. I'll have to try again tomorrow! I promise I will get them posted though!

Ok, so I have to explain why I haven't posted pictures yet! Yes, I have been taking pictures but I wanted to wait and post pictures from a pro! My wonderful friend Megan came to the hospital and took pictures for us! She is such a wonderful photographer, especially with people like us who aren't comfortable in front of a camera. Thank you Megan (someday I hope to be a great photographer too)! There are so many good ones that I can't choose between them. These are all before Ashley even got a bath! There are many more to come!

I love being "Mommy!"

Today was truly wonderful, even with the lack of sleep. I have the most amazing family! This morning I got breakfast in bed, a shiatsu neck message thing, and the cutest card from the girls (with a little help from Daddy)! Then in nursery Samantha made me a flower out of a coffee filter and a pencil, and her and Daddy gave me a real plant that they had to put in a pot and everything. Its amazing how fast Samantha is growing up and how much she is able to do! Today was Ashley's first time going to church. She was great as usual and slept most of the day! After church Samantha, Ashley and I all took a nap while Daddy was at a meeting. We ate dinner outside in the sun which was so nice. My family made me feel so special and loved today! I am so grateful to be a Mommy! I know that being a mother is my purpose on this earth! I love my Hubby and beautiful little girls so much!
